The Ministry of Defense and the Antonov State Enterprise are preparing to sign a contract for the construction of three new AN-178 aircraft. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Strategic Industries Oleh Uruskyi said about it, the press service of the Ministry of Strategic Industry reports.
According to Urusky, for the first time in three decades there was a state order for the construction of new domestic aircraft.
«During Ukraine's independence, we never ordered new planes," he emphasized.
He also noted that the repair of armored vehicles and the purchase of artillery systems are planned.
