In addition, by 2026, the American authorities plan to start another long-term project — to prepare for the launch of a mission to build a nuclear power station on the surface of the Moon.

NASA also plans to start another long-term project in 2026 — to prepare for the launch of part of the project to build a nuclear power station on the surface of the Moon. First, the structure will be tested on Earth, and later they want to send it to a satellite so that the station generates energy to support the work of the research station. In this regard, NASA and the US Department of Energy have already announced a competition to find manufacturers who will bring the project to life.
