ChatGPT chatbot developers will pay users

Chat GPT

The American company OpenAI, behind the creation of ChatGPT, will start paying users from 200 to 20 dollars for bugs and errors found in its chatbot.

This was reported by the publication Bloomberg. The company is said to have launched a bug bounty program through which people can report weaknesses, bugs or security issues they discover while using its AI products.

It is emphasized that such programs are quite common in the technology industry. OpenAI said it is deploying it in partnership with a dedicated platform bugcrowd, where the bug reporting mechanism will be located.

The company will pay a monetary reward based on the size of the bugs found, ranging from $200 for what it calls "low-severity discoveries" to $20 for "exceptional discoveries," it said.

The company said that one of the reasons for implementing the program is the realization that "transparency and cooperation are key to finding vulnerabilities in its technology."

You can report a bug by here. At the same time, it is noted that the processing of requests for finding errors will be carried out by a special algorithm.

"This initiative is an integral part of our commitment to the development of secure and advanced artificial intelligence," said Matthew Knight, head of security at OpenAI, in a blog post. "As we build safe, secure and reliable technologies and services, we need your help."
