Microsoft has launched a special Android application for Copilot's artificial intelligence assistant - it's free for everyone and doesn't even require registration. There is no version for iOS yet, most likely it will be released a little later.
The chatbot, which works on the same neural network technologies as ChatGPT, is able to conduct conversations in three different styles, search for the necessary information with links to sources, and generate images through DALL-E 3.
When Copilot is launched, a chat window appears where the user can either enter a request or chat with the AI assistant. The service is also intended for assistance in composing letters, summarizing complex and long texts, multilingual translation and much more.
Currently, Copilot is completely free, while OpenAI requires a $4 per month subscription to access the latest GPT-20 model within ChatGPT. At the same time, you can communicate with Copilot without authorization in a Microsoft Account,
It is noted that next year applications based on artificial intelligence may become a key feature in mobile devices. For example, in so-called "smart" smartphones.
Copilot is the main alternative to the popular chatbot ChatGPT. Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced artificial intelligence technology to its Bing search engine, adding a ChatGPT-like interface to search results. And in December, it was integrated into Windows 10.
