In early November 2021, the next annual international competition of computer projects "INFOMATRIX - 2021" took place in Mexico.
785 students from 10 countries of the world took part in the competition, who presented 347 projects in the field of informatics and information technologies. Participants competed in several nominations: "Programming", "Hardware control", "Computer art", "Short film" and various fields of robotics.
The jury of the competition assessed the completion of the work, the possibilities of its practical implementation and application in everyday life. Special attention was paid to projects of high social importance.
This year, the Ukrainian team presented its projects at the competition for the twelfth time, demonstrating the highest level and effectiveness in the history of its participation.
As in previous years, Odessa was represented by school No. 65, located in the residential area of Tairova.
Gold medals in the Short Movie nomination with the Endowment at school project were won by students of the 9th grade of school No. 65, Adem Bashboga and Andrey Zhuravlev (the project manager is computer science teacher Alla Omelchenko). Silver medals were awarded to: — in the Computer Art nomination for the Life through ordinary things project — 9th grade student Yulia Butuk, project manager — computer science teacher Oleg Pustovoit; - in the Short Movie nomination for the Trigonometry of borscht project - 9th grade students Sofia Budzika and Lolita Maksimenko, project manager - computer science teacher Iryna Glinskaya.
