The last ship left Odesa port on the eve of the deadline of the Black Sea grain agreement

On July 16, the last vessel left the port of Odessa under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the term of which expired on Monday, July 17. Turkish bulk carrier TQ Samsun is to deliver 23 tons of corn and 500 tons of rape to the Netherlands. About this reports write Reuters.

Since the beginning of July, only eight ships with 291 tons of agricultural products left Ukraine's Black Sea ports.

A United Nations spokesman said Friday that Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is awaiting a response from Russian President Vladimir Putin on a proposal to extend the deal.

On July 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated that they see no reason to continue the implementation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. The Kremlin put forward its own conditions for this agreement with Turkey. So, the first item of requirements was connection to SWIFT of "Rossilhospbank".
