Ukrainian law enforcement officers are verifying the version of sabotage due to the lack of oxygen for those infected with the coronavirus, due to the fact that the two largest oxygen plants decided to carry out technical prevention at the peak of the epidemic. This was stated by People's Deputy from Servants of the People, head of the Committee on Health of the Nation Mikhail Radutsky.
"Today, both the Security Service of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies are dealing with this issue - there are suspicions that it could be sabotage," Radutsky said.
"For some reason, precisely at the predicted peak of the epidemic, two of the most powerful oxygen plants suddenly started technical prevention. At the request of the government to postpone the technical prevention, they replied that it is impossible," said Radutsky.
He added that on November 2, the factories will still resume work, and until then Ukraine will receive oxygen from Poland and Hungary, with which the Ministry of Health has relevant agreements. The issue of using technical oxygen from Ukrainian plants in hospitals is also resolved.
