Ukraine will soon be forced to introduce restrictions for unvaccinated citizens. This process was announced by the head of the parliamentary committee on the health of the nation, Mikhail Radutsky.
According to Radutsky, they will start with teachers. In the event of a worsening of the epidemiological situation, only those schools where at least 80% of teachers are vaccinated will work (currently, only half of the teachers are vaccinated out of the total number).
"It is logical to introduce similar restrictions for transporters, public catering enterprises and commercial or communal structures whose employees are in direct contact with the population. A sick minibus driver infects no less people than a teacher.
We in Ukraine do not talk about mandatory vaccination, no one has the right to force a person to be vaccinated. But it is quite fair to demand that only vaccinated employees perform work that involves contact with a large number of people.
A month ago, we had a shortage of vaccines. But the week before last we received more than 2 million vaccines, last week more than 2.5 million. Vaccination is open to all who wish. We offer enterprises to submit an application, order a mobile brigade and vaccinate employees right at the workplace.
Therefore, now everyone decides for himself - leisure and full-time work or forced restrictions during the next wave of the coronavirus," Radutsky emphasized.
