At today's meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the government allowed schools and kindergartens to operate in the regions of the "red" quarantine zone.
Now schools and kindergartens in the regions where the highest rates of spread of the coronavirus are observed will be able to function. The decision to prohibit work will be taken by the state and regional commissions on man-made and ecological safety and emergency situations.
— It is prohibited to visit preschool, secondary, extracurricular and specialized art education institutions in the administrative-territorial units of the region, on which the "green", "yellow" and "orange" level of epidemic risk is established, in the case of self-isolation due to contact with a patient with more than 19% of the classes were sent to a confirmed case of Covid-50. A complete ban on the work of educational establishments in the territory with a "red" level of epidemic danger is accepted only by a joint decision of the commissions on TEB and Emergencies, - said Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.
