According to the State Statistics Service, from January to September 2021, 487 people died in Ukraine.
The most common causes of death in Ukraine in 2021 were diseases of the circulatory system, neoplasms, diseases of the respiratory and digestive organs, diseases of COVID-19, as well as external factors. This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service.
The most frequent causes of death:
▪️ diseases of the circulatory system - 306 thousand deaths (where ischemic heart disease alone accounts for 213 thousand);
▪️malignant neoplasms - more than 55 thousand people;
▪️ COVID-19 and its complications - 40 thousand Ukrainians.
In addition, 4 suicides were registered during this period. And another 584 people were fatally poisoned by alcohol.
