Ukraine will purchase a vaccine against the coronavirus produced by any country, including Russia, if the World Health Organization (WHO) confirms its effectiveness and safety.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov announced this on the air of the NewsOne TV channel.
— We have a corresponding statement from the Russians that they have made a vaccine, but there is no confirmation from international organizations regarding the effectiveness of this vaccine, that it has passed all the stages and that it is safe, in the Ministry of Health, the minister noted.
According to Stepanov, in the case of confirmation of passing all stages and tests, as well as after obtaining evidence of safety of use, the Ministry of Health is ready to talk about the purchase of any vaccine, regardless of the country of manufacture.
