In the near future, a program to exchange outdated incandescent lamps for LED ones will be introduced, and this will be done free of charge for the public.
The government plans to replace 50 million incandescent lamps with new energy-saving LED ones. The European Commission will finance the purchase of about 30 million LED light bulbs for Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy reported.
Such a simple way as replacing power lamps with energy-saving LED lamps can help us consume 7-10% less electricity at the time of peak load. In the near future, the Ministry of Economy will provide detailed instructions on how to get LED lamps - the mechanism will be as simple as possible," the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, emphasized.
