The power unit of the nuclear power plant, which was taken out of operation after the missile attack, is connected to the country's power system
On December 13, 2022, at 1:09 a.m., after renovations, another (ninth) 1000-MW power unit of Energoatom, which was put out of operation on November 23 as a result of missile attacks, was connected to the power grid. Currently, capacity building is underway.
"This is another step towards the stability of the energy system. All 9 power units of domestic nuclear power plants, which are located in the territory controlled by Ukraine, work to meet the needs of the population and the country's economy," said the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko.
