Putin failed to achieve what he wanted in the negotiations with Xi Jinping — ISW

According to the results of the negotiations with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping in Moscow, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was unable to secure a closer bilateral partnership with China, which he could have hoped for. This is the conclusion reached by the analysts of the Institute for the Study of War, which is discussed in published ISW reports.
