Ukraine ends this year with the highest dollar GDP in history

The total cost of manufactured goods and services will exceed last year's figure by $39,4 billion.

By the end of 2021, Ukraine will reach a record high dollar gross domestic product (GDP) — about $195 billion, the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, said.

According to preliminary estimates, the total cost of manufactured goods and services will exceed last year's figure by $39,4 billion.

According to the forecast, the indicator will be the highest in the entire history of the country. In 2020, Ukraine's GDP amounted to $155,6 billion, compared to $153,9 billion a year earlier.

"Our goal is to ensure the constancy of the main indicators: GDP growth, increase in gold and currency reserves, containment of inflation within permissible limits. We strive to bring the business climate in Ukraine to the best world standards," the Minister of Economy noted.

Yulia Svyridenko claims that in 2022 the government plans to launch a number of state programs that will ensure rapid growth of the gross domestic product.

In particular, the insulation of residential buildings, the restoration of irrigation systems in the southern regions, the launch of affordable mortgage loans, the financing of exporters of products.
