From January 1, electricity prices will increase in Ukraine
The increase in tariffs will affect business and will be 107% compared to current prices.
The result will be an increase in prices for most goods, which will be felt by the population.
The increase in electricity prices is planned for several reasons:
- destruction of energy infrastructure by Russian shelling;
- price changes for water supply and drainage;
- an increase in the physical volume of works due to constant shelling from the Russian Federation and the cost of these works;
- rising costs of raw materials and materials;
- fuel price increase;
increase in spending on capital investments; - an increase in the forecast exchange rates of the dollar and the euro against the hryvnia with a simultaneous increase in the costs of public utilities for "green" generation.
The tariff for dispatching services of NEC "Ukrenergo" is proposed to be increased from the current 62,13 hryvnias. up to UAH 207,63/MWh
