Ukrainians currently in Italy can apply for a special Transport Bonus bonus.
This €60 bonus is available for the purchase of an annual, monthly or multi-month season ticket for local, regional, interregional public transport or national rail transport.
In total, 2023 million euros have been allocated for the 100 transport bonus.
Who can apply for a transport bonus in Italy?
The bonus is financed from the fund created by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and is intended for persons who in 2022 received a total income not exceeding 20 euros. Students, employees, pensioners and unemployed persons can receive a voucher for the relevant assistance.
You can also apply for a bonus online on the platform and purchase the season ticket physically at the box office later. For this, it is necessary to present the code received at the end of the procedure at the time of purchase.
How to apply for Transport Bonus?
From Monday, April 17, the digital platform for requesting the transport bonus for 2023 began to operate.
In order to receive a bonus, those who are entitled to it, the minister reminds, will have to submit an application to site, by entering the system and registering on the special portal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy through Spid or electronic identity card (Cie).
"You will be able to submit an online application for assistance for yourself or for a minor child. Every resident of Italy can apply for one transport benefit per month until December 31, 2023 and until resources are exhausted," the Ministry of Labor of the country said in a statement.
Pay attention! The voucher is nominal and applicable for the purchase of an annual or monthly subscription during the current month.
