The National Commission for Energy and Utilities (NKREKU) has approved an increase in tariffs for the distribution of natural gas (the so-called subscription fee) from January 1, 2021. On average, prices will rise by 80%.

How much will you have to pay for gas in the new year, ElitExpert found out.

Double lifting

Gas transportation tariffs were last reviewed in July of this year. Then they were raised by an average of 9,4%, but not for all gas workers. At that time, gas was delivered to customers of "Odessagaz" (up to 79 kopecks), "Melitopolgaz" (up to 1,31 hryvnias per cubic meter), "Umangaz" (up to 1 hryvnia), "Hadyachgaz" (up to 1,06 hryvnias), "Zaporozhgaz" (up to 64 kopecks). At the same time, the tariffs for "Kyivgaz", "Donetskoblgaz", "Korostyshevgaz", "Kremenchuggaz", "Ternopolgorgaz" and "Kharkovgorgaz" did not change.

Interestingly, this time the list includes suppliers whose transportation tariffs were raised back in the summer. The full list of "lucky" looks like this:

  • for "Hadyachgaz" by 75%, up to 1,86 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Donetskoblgaz" by 58,6%, up to 1,11 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Kyivgaz" by 14,3%, up to 32 kopecks
  • for Kyivoblgaz by 91,4%, up to 1,55 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Kirovogradgaz" in 2 times, up to 1,75 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Korostyshevgaz" in 2,2 times, up to 1,88 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Kremenchuggaz" by 48,3%, up to 43 kopecks per cubic meter
  • for Lubnygaz by 2,1 times, up to 2,62 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Luhanskgaz" by 22,8%, up to 1,13 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Melitopolgaz" by 80%, up to 2,36 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Mariupolgaz" by 49,5%, up to 1,63 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Odessagaz" by 12,7%, up to 89 kopecks per cubic meter
  • for "Poltavagaz" by 89,9%, up to 2,07 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Ternopolgaz" by 2,3 times, up to 2,34 hryvnias per cubic meter.
  • for "Ternopolgorgaz" by 2,8 times, up to 94 kopecks per cubic meter
  • for "Khersongaz" by 91,5%, up to 1,8 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Cherkasygaz" - by 22,9%, up to 59 kopecks per cubic meter
  • for "Shepetovkagaz" by 2,1 times, up to 1,19 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Kremenetsky UPRG" by 92% to 1,44 hryvnias per cubic meter
  • for "Umangaz" by 100%, up to 2,24 hryvnias per cubic meter.

It is also worth considering that the prices are indicated without VAT, that is, the total cost will increase even more.

At the same time, it is proposed to reduce the tariff for two operators: for LLC "Spectrgaz" - by 3%, namely from UAH 3,28 to 3,18 per cubic meter of gas, for PJSC "NGHP "Syrka" - by 15%, p. 1,54, 1,28 to UAH XNUMX per cubic meter.

How much will you have to pay?

For residents of high-rise buildings, the increase in tariffs for the delivery of blue fuel will be noticeable, but not critical. Residents of private houses (almost half of the country's population) will suffer the most. For example, in the heating season, even heating a modest private house is 400-500 cubic meters per month. The gas itself will cost up to 3,5 thousand hryvnias, and another 900-1170 for its delivery. In total, you will have to pay over UAH 4000 per month - at best.

In addition, heat producers will now pay for transportation at the new prices. This means that the question of raising heating tariffs will arise again. According to preliminary forecasts, it may jump in price to 8-9 hryvnias and higher. And then the residents of private houses will have to pay a minimum of about 6000 hryvnias per month.
