The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine will insist on the operation of transport in the event of a lockdown in the country, said the head of the department, Vladyslav Krykly.
"I will personally insist that the transport remains operational. Today, no restrictions on traffic are planned: city, intra-regional, intercity transportation and the railway will operate. Domestic flights will not be cancelled. As for international air traffic, the situation in another country should be taken into account," he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
As Kryklyi noted, even in those countries where some restrictions were introduced regarding the functioning of various industries, transport continued to work, "since it is an artery primarily for the economy, for supporting business activity."
