At the time when Naftogaz decided to increase gas payments to Ukrainians, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the company's financial plan with an increase in payments to employees in 2021.
This decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday, December 23.
The approved financial plan for 2021 envisages receiving net income in the amount of 112,023 billion hryvnias. In turn, according to the approved financial plan, payments to the state in 2021 will amount to 58,113 billion hryvnias.
At the same time, Minister of Finance Sergey Marchenko reminded that, despite the expected profit, in nine months of 2020, the company received a loss of 17 billion hryvnias.
"The volume of gas production of Ukrgazdobycha is taken into account, which does not correspond to the volume that was determined by the concept of the development of the gas production industry, because the concept provides for the production of 21 billion cubic meters. m of gas, and 13,3 is provided for in the draft finplan," he said.
In addition, he expressed dissatisfaction with the planned huge increase in the wage fund. The minister specified that the finplan envisages a 56% increase in the salaries of board members. Despite Marchenko's remarks, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the finplan of Naftogaz.
