Volunteers save displaced people from the cold: a great initiative of the BF "Noble Cause"

In October, the team of the Charitable Foundation "Noble Cause" and its head Serhiy Shutov launched a new initiative, which is very relevant for thousands of families in the southern regions of our country.

In view of the fact that the winter cold will soon come, the volunteers decided to provide firewood to the residents of several OTS of Odesa. Recently, thousands of displaced persons from the south of Ukraine have arrived here, in the Odesa region, fleeing the war. That is why the local authorities of some OTG turned to the Fund with a request for help - people are in dire need of firewood or stoves.

In order to help our citizens who were in trouble get through the winter more easily, it was necessary to act as soon as possible, the Charitable Fund Team accepted the challenge - negotiations with partners and friends began, the search for opportunities...

As a result, in the shortest possible time, the first batches of firewood (which are two full trucks of 40 cubic meters of wood) went to the village of Kulivcha in the Sarat district. As Serhiy Shutov admits, the reaction of the people was a real shock for him – many of them cried while receiving firewood.

"Each family that needed it received one and a half cubic meters of hard wood - this is oak, alder, ash, which means that heat in people's houses will be provided for the next one and a half to two months. We will not stop there, we plan to continue and further increase our humanitarian aid: especially since we are constantly receiving new requests," said Serhii Shutov.

By the way, partners from the humanitarian organization Nova Ukraine and Protestant churches, which have long provided assistance not only to their parishioners, but also to all those who need it, helped the volunteers in the purchase and delivery of firewood.

Cooperation between BF "Noble Cause" and "Nova Ukraine"

The Charitable Fund's immediate plans include assistance to the recently liberated districts of the Mykolaiv region. The situation there is even more deplorable, as many houses have been destroyed by the occupiers: people need both firewood and small stoves. The first batch of "bourgeois" will arrive at the fund already this week and will be distributed to people immediately.

Well, as always, the priority of the Fund is to help the defenders of our country. Several times a month, volunteers go to the front line, to the servicemen of the 28th brigade, who have been helping them for the ninth month.

Benefactors take the boys to the front as food, medicine, sets of tactical uniforms and shoes, as well as what our heroes have asked for more than once - much-needed sleeping bags.

According to independent experts, the "Noble Cause" Charitable Fund is currently the only one implementing similar projects in Odesa in such volumes.

In this regard, volunteers once again ask Odessans and residents of the region not to be indifferent to those who, due to Russian aggression, were left homeless and forced to relocate and settle in a new place far from their small homeland. Therefore, with the onset of cold weather, people need your help more than ever.
