Yulia Tymoshenko, head of the "Batkivshchyna" party, came to Kherson the other day. Together with her, teams from the Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad and Rivne regions arrived in the city, bringing humanitarian aid to the people of Kherson.
"What to do when there is no light? Go where there is nothing! This is exactly what our team decided and went to Kherson. The liberated Ukrainian Kherson region is still without electricity, without heat, without water, without communication, without bridges, under constant enemy fire from the left bank. Today, without exaggeration, everything is needed here," said Yulia Tymoshenko.
In turn, Oleg Radkovskiy, head of the Odesa regional office, and Mykhailo Pozhivanov, head of the "Batkivshchyna" of the city of Odesa, said that thanks to the work of the humanitarian hub "Odesa Hub Batkivshchyna", hygiene products, protective masks, antiseptics, diapers, blankets and auxiliary medical equipment were delivered to the Kherson hospital. as well as food for the townspeople.
During a meeting with the head doctor of the Kherson regional hospital, Mykhailo Pozhivanov assured the management of the institution that Odesa "Batkivshchyna" will continue to provide assistance to the regional hospital and handed over humanitarian aid and medicines to the head doctor.
"Our humanitarian hub "Odesa Hub Batkivshchyna" has been working since the first days of the war, we help displaced people, residents of regional communities and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the liberation of Kherson, we collected everything we could and came here to the people. They need everything today: food, water, clothes and understanding that they are not alone, not abandoned. This is only our first trip to Kherson, we are already preparing for the next one," Oleg Radkovskyi said.
Politicians brought aid not only to Kherson itself, but also to neighboring villages. The village of Nova Tyaginka is located at the zero mark of the front line on the right bank of the Dnieper, here the politicians brought food to the canteen that prepares for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
