In Nigeria, militants attacked a zoo and robbed the director, who is the younger brother of the country's health minister.

According to the publication, the attack took place in Benin City, the administrative center of the southern state of Edo. During the attack, the director of the zoo, Andy Ekhanire, the younger brother of the country's Minister of Health, Osaga Ekhanire, was protected.
During the clash, three seconded law enforcement officers were fatally wounded. It is also reported that the kidnappers did not make any demands. None of the groups took responsibility for what happened.
