Flynn suggested that the president could deploy the military to the swing states, where Joe Biden won. According to media reports, Trump voiced the idea of martial law to acting advisers, but the majority refused such a drastic step to maintain power. If this provision is introduced, the results of the elections may be canceled and the elections themselves annulled.
Axios sources expressed concern over Flynn's ideas not only about martial law, but also about the confiscation of devices for automatic registration and vote counting, as well as Trump's desire to appoint General of the Army Jerome Powell as a special adviser on election fraud, for which Powell clearly has not too many qualifications.
