The future president of the United States, Joe Biden, expressed confidence that his son Hunter, suspected of tax evasion, did not do anything illegal.

"I'm sure," Biden answered when asked by a reporter if he was sure that Hunter Biden had not committed any tax violations.
Hunter Biden previously confirmed that the Delaware State Attorney's Office is conducting an investigation into his tax payments.
"I take this case seriously and am confident that a professional and objective investigation will show that I conducted business legally and correctly," he said.
As a reminder, a week ago it became known that the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the American state of Delaware started an investigation into Hunter Biden's tax deductions.
In addition, in 2016, Joe Biden, being the vice president of the USA, allegedly demanded the dismissal of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Viktor Shokin, who had begun an investigation into the activities of Burisma, the company in which Biden Jr. received the position of a board member. As a result, Shokin was fired, and the investigation of the case was suspended. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly called to find out how Hunter Biden got a high position at Burisma.
