Ternopil Oblast is a region rich in religious and historical heritage. It is not for nothing that the Ternopil region is called the "Ukrainian Jerusalem". Unique wooden churches, stone temples, springs with healing water and even cave temples have been preserved on the territory of the region. There are also many catch phrases about the city of Ternopil, one of them is "the cool city of Ternopil". It was these words that inspired the holding of the "Fine City" open-air music festival since 2013. Moreover, in 2020, Ternopil was the youth capital of Ukraine, and in 2021, the most Ukrainian-speaking city also became the language capital.

The first place in the list went to the mayor of Ternopil three times Serhiy Nadal, who has been leading the city since 2010.
