The traditional rating of 100 influential women of Ukraine, compiled by the editorial board of Focus magazine, included only one woman from Odessa.
The discussion took into account the opinions of experts in the field of politics, economy, social sphere and culture. The influence of women on the adoption of state decisions, their ability to shape public opinion, exert business influence, as well as creative and sports successes, which affect the image of Ukraine in the world, were evaluated.
Ekaterina Nozhevnikova, the founder of the "Korporatsiya monstrov" charity fund, took 90th place. According to the publication, only in the spring of 2020, the "Monster Corporation" fund managed by her collected UAH 136 million and provided equipment and consumables to 54 hospitals in Odessa and the region. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Nozhevnykova Foundation has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 and has helped thousands of Odessans.
