On the morning of June 18, two NATO ships - the frigate "Eversten" under the flag of the Netherlands and the destroyer "Defender" under the flag of Great Britain - docked at the pier of the Odessa naval station.
Most likely, they arrived to participate in the Sea Breeze international exercises, which should begin on June 28.
These ships are part of the escort of the newest British aircraft carrier "Queen Elizabeth", which recently went on a round-the-world trip.
Before entering Odessa, Defender and Eversten conducted joint maneuvers with the American destroyer USS Laboon DDG58.
