Odessa will host a national memorial lesson dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Baby Yar tragedy. This all-Ukrainian initiative is organized by the forces of the "Babiy Yar" Holocaust Memorial Center with the assistance and under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine,
The Ministry of Education approved the methodology of the lesson and the online platform for its implementation "Red Memory Point": https://edu.babynyar.org/.
On September 29, this lesson will be held simultaneously in 15 thousand schools of Ukraine. In Odessa, it will be held at the Law Lyceum on ul. Ekaterininskaya 64, at 10:00.
The guest of honor - Pavel Efimovych Kozlenko, a public figure, historian, lawyer, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, will address the audience with an introductory speech during the National Remembrance Lesson.
"We cannot change history, but each of us can contribute so that new generations learn the terrible and tragic lessons of history and do not repeat such mistakes!" - reported the organizers of the action.
