A storm warning was announced in Ukraine on October 8. A strong wind is observed in the south-eastern regions. This is reported by the State Emergency Service.
"According to the Ukrhydrometeorological center, on October 8, wind gusts will reach 15-20 m/s in most western and southeastern regions," the warning reads.
Because of the bad weather, the yellow hazard level has been declared.
Earlier, weather forecasters said that soon the weather will change drastically and not for the better. In particular, heavy rains with gusty winds are expected. Precipitation will affect all regions of Ukraine without exception. In addition, a decrease in air temperature is expected.
But in general, October will not bring significant frosts. The first severe frosts are expected in November.
