In Odessa on the street Efima Heller, 43, opened a new outpatient clinic of family medicine No. 7 of the Center for Primary Health Care No. 3. This is reported by the mayor's press service.
According to the mayor of Odesa, Gennady Trukhanov, previously there were no medical facilities in Chabaevka, where residents of the microdistrict could turn to receive primary medical and sanitary assistance.
"We have corrected the situation, now Odessans who live in Chubaevka can receive medical services not far from their homes. The outpatient clinic will serve more than six thousand people, for this there are necessary renovated premises that previously belonged to the SON, equipment, an emergency vehicle," said Trukhanov.
The dispensary will have three family doctors, a day hospital, a manipulation room, and a vaccination room.
Also, in the service area, the provision of emergency care to patients at home is organized by the municipal emergency care service.
"It is especially important that during the coronavirus pandemic, you do not have to travel far in case of illness and do not expose yourself to the risk of infection. People understand this and are very much looking forward to the start of work at the dispensary. I am glad that we met their expectations, opened it in the shortest possible time. Our party has always prioritized social and medical issues, and we will continue to work in this direction," Oleg Bryndak, the head of the "Trust business" faction in the Odessa city council, assured.
As a reminder, earlier in Odessa, a renovated modern inclusive resource center No. 8 was opened, which is located at 99 Ataman Holovatogo Street. This institution is designed for children from 2 to 18 years of age with special educational needs.
