During the pandemic, online services and remote services are becoming increasingly popular. So that consumers do not risk their health in queues at bank cash registers or terminals, "Infoksvodokanal" has introduced a new one-click water payment service since the beginning of the quarantine. This was reported in the press service of the "Infoksvodokanal" branch.
The advantage of the new service is that it is now possible to pay for water without registering in a personal account, filling in forms and details. And importantly, there is no commission (regardless of the bank that issued the card), and the payment itself is visible in the Vodokanal database within 15 minutes.
In order to use the service, it is enough to enter the personal account code in a special window on the "Infoksvodokanal" website, and the system will automatically pull up the necessary details, the amount of the debt and transfer it to a secure page for payment.
The new function also works on smartphones. To pay in one click, you need to follow the link that Vodokanal sends to consumers' phones in SMS and Viber messages.
It should be noted that the new service is already popular among consumers. In October, about 40 residents of Odessa used the simplified payment method, and their number is growing.
Nevertheless, since the beginning of the quarantine, the water debts of Odessa residents have broken all records and today amount to about 230 million hryvnias.
"Such a situation significantly complicates the work of the water utility, which, in addition to uninterrupted water supply, tries to promptly eliminate accidents, renew pipelines, and carry out modernization. In turn, the company creates and develops modern, convenient services, and also thanks its conscientious customers for timely payment. Today, the reliability of the city's water supply never depends on the awareness of every Odessa resident," Infoksvodokanal emphasized.
