The charitable foundation "Monster Corporation" asked Ukrainians to support lonely old people.
"I see huge queues in stores - everyone is buying up products. Mostly young and middle-aged people. I don't think it's necessary to do this now, but I'll take this opportunity to ask. If you succumbed to the same urge, please throw a couple of cans of canned food, sunflower oil and any non-perishable products into your basket," said the head of the fund, Ekaterina Nozhevnikova.
More than 500 lonely old people, most of whom do not leave their homes, are under the care of the Monster Corporation.
"I'm afraid that now it will be very difficult for them to understand everything that is happening. We will continue our work and will be very grateful to you for the support of our wards. The office is open from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. (further according to the situation) at the address: Luteransky pereulok, 7 (corner of Karetny).
