The company "Degas Group" was founded by businessman Yury Degas and his partners in 2016. And if the first areas of the company's activities included microcredit and project management, then over the next five years, the "Degas group" team has more than 30 successful projects in the fields of investment, development, construction, catering and entertainment.
In the first year since its foundation, the company took over the management of the Caleton beach complex in the Delfina district, making it one of the best in Odessa and Ukraine. In order to understand what Caleton is now, it is possible to recall that the complex was awarded the "Blue Flag" twice. This is the highest international award, presented annually to those beaches of the world where the water meets high standards and is suitable for safe swimming, and the accompanying infrastructure meets strict quality standards, including ecological ones.
Already in 2017, the company expanded the range of its activities and began to engage in development projects and crisis management in the field of construction. With this, the company solves the problems of Odessa underdevelopment, and more precisely, thousands of families who previously bought apartments in houses under construction from bankrupt developers, and then had to wait for years for their houses to be put into operation.
The first such project of the company was the residential complex "Novaya Evropa" in the Suvorovsky District. By the time when the specialists of Degas Group took up the solution of the problem, desperate investors had been waiting unsuccessfully for more than six years for any "moves" on their "displeasure". As a result, the company quickly completed the first sections of the residential complex with its own funds, handed over the keys to the tenants and now continues the construction of the complex already under its management and with new infrastructural solutions.
The next was residential complex "Magnit", located at the 13th station of Bolshoi Fontana. As a result, the object was recapitalized, completed and successfully implemented.
In addition, the restaurant sector is also developing successfully - the restaurants of the "Benedict" chain are very popular with Odessa residents and guests of the city - on ul. Sadovoy and on Arkadyskaya Alley. It is indicative that even the lockdowns did not affect the responsible attitude of the company to its employees - the entire staff of restaurants was preserved, and people received salaries.
Active participation in the public and social life of Odessa is an important part of the activity of "Degas group". The company regularly participates in charity events, socially significant events and projects, and in 2020 began construction of the city's first full-fledged beach rehabilitation complex for people with disabilities in the Delfina area. This location will be called "Beach of unlimited possibilities" and will be oriented to serve people with special needs. Among other things, there will be a 36-meter ramp and a special elevator for wheelchair users.
We note that the new beach is being created from scratch and is the only example when such an essential object is implemented exclusively with the funds of a private investor.
At the same time, the company is not going to rest on its laurels and already in April 2021 will start construction of its first own house, Greenwich Park, which promises to become the company's business card. The five-story building with a closed area will be built in the English architectural style and will be located in the Suvorovsky district of Odessa.
And the last important point that favorably distinguishes the company "Degas Group". Guided by the principle "People should not suffer", none of the investors of the residential complexes that the company was building did not pay anything more than the amount they paid to the previous developer. And this is a unique practice for Ukraine.
