In the capital, on February 6, law enforcement officers detained a man who damaged the window of the Verkhovna Rada building. This was reported in the communication department of the Kyiv police.
Initially, operatives found out that a 27-year-old man from Lviv had prepared a hammer in advance to damage the window and threw it through the window. The man tried to hide, but the police stopped him.
The detainee's actions were classified as hooliganism (Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigators are currently communicating with him.
