In Odessa region, a resident of Kherson region was arrested for a robbery attack and illegal possession of a taxi driver's car. An 18-year-old guy, who temporarily lived in Odessa, freed a taxi in Kuchurgan.
As reported in the press service of the National Security Service of the Odesa region, he arrived in the village, on one of the unlit streets, he threatened the driver with a pistol, ordered him to get out of the car, got behind the wheel and drove away.
After that, the taxi driver contacted the police. On the same day, law enforcement officers found a car abandoned in a neighboring village. An armed thief was found in the family - in the Kherson region. He went there, took the money and the taxi driver's mobile phone. When detained, the guy did not deny his guilt.
The court sent him to the SIZO. The guy faces imprisonment for a period of 8 to 12 years with or without confiscation of property.
