Law enforcement officers detained an Odessa citizen suspected of distributing a dangerous psychotropic substance and attempting to transport it across the state border. This was reported by the press service of the State Administration of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
A 25-year-old man was detained while trying to send methamphetamine by mail to Australia. He stuffed rubber toys with psychotraps.
During the search of the house, psychotropic substances, packaging material, electronic scales, mobile phones, bank cards, as well as precursors and equipment for drug production were seized from the detainee's house.
Law enforcement officers are trying to place the suspect in custody during the pre-trial investigation. For what he did, he faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
