The Security Service of Ukraine blocked the activities of an organized criminal drug group, which included current and former employees of the Lviv District Police Department, in particular, the deputy head of one of the departments. This was reported in the SBU press center.
The pre-trial investigation established that the perpetrators established the sale of amphetamine, "Alfa PVP" and heroin in the city. They sought out their clients through personal connections. SBU employees recorded several facts of the sale of "goods" to local drug addicts. In addition to financial "interest", the police in this way artificially increased the indicators of official activity.
Law enforcement officers detained three criminals. One of them has already been informed of the suspicion and served with a petition to elect a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The pre-trial investigation continues. Operatives conduct searches at the place of work and residential addresses of members of the group.
