In Kyiv, the guy sold a moped that was given to him by a courier company for an internship. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.
The police learned about the incident from a delivery service employee. The policemen who arrived at the scene began to study the video from the surveillance cameras. It turned out that a 21-year-old intern was involved in the theft, who was provided with transportation while studying at the organization. He stole it on his first day of training.
The police established that the guy had previously been brought to criminal responsibility for property crimes.
The suspect was detained and found out that he had sold the moped to an unknown person, and managed to spend the proceeds as he saw fit. The guy was incriminated under the article "illegal possession of a vehicle that caused great material damage."
The suspect faces from five to eight years in prison with or without confiscation of property.
