Early in the morning on April 3, Russian troops carried out airstrikes in Odesa.
"Odessa was attacked from the air. Some of the missiles were shot down by air defense. It is recommended to close the windows," said Serhii Bratchuk, the spokesman of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Smoke is visible in some areas of the city, including two fires and heavy smoke.
Bratchuk also promised to punish bloggers who posted photos and videos of shelling on the Internet.
"A bad morning was posted on the social network with geolocation to the BAD bloggers who filmed the morning video. Brothers have already left for you! Let your asses be on fire and all Odessa mothers send you "warm greetings"!" he noted.
All relevant systems and services are working to eliminate the consequences.
According to the Operational Command "South", critical infrastructure facilities were damaged, however, according to preliminary data, there were no victims.
The City Hall called on Odessa residents not to interfere with the work of relevant services.
Added: In the evening, the head of the Regional State Administration, Maksym Marchenko, reported that the rockets of the occupiers had hit oil storage facilities and the Odesa Oil Refinery.
