Law enforcement officers detained the attacker who damaged the railway tracks in Kryvyi Rih, which subsequently derailed 15 wagons.
This was reported by the head of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Vladimir Zhmak.
"Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, together with the security service of UZ, promptly identified and detained an intruder who was engaged in the dismantling of the track's upper structure, which led to the convergence of 15 wagons on the racetrack near Kryvyi Rih. Now this man is testifying," Zhmak said
According to him, restoration work is currently underway, four wagons have already been lifted and installed on the rails.
As reported earlier, 15 wagons of the freight train derailed during movement to the outskirts of Kryvyi Rih tonight.
