Russian aggressors struck Odesa with an Iskander-M missile from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. on the morning of Friday, March 15.
In Odesa, a three-story building of a recreational facility was destroyed, more than 10 private houses, a service station, a gas pipeline, ambulances and fire-rescue vehicles were damaged or destroyed. Firefighters have already extinguished the fire. Debris analysis is ongoing.
"According to the available data, 14 people died, including residents of the district, a doctor and a rescue worker. 46 people were injured, including 8 rescuers. Appropriate emergency services are on site. The rest of the information is being clarified," the message reads.
As of 16:30, the death was confirmed 16 people, 55 injured.
As reported in the press service of the Odesa regional emergency department, after the first strike, units arrived at the place of arrival and started extinguishing the fire, sorting out the debris and searching for the victims.
It was during the work that the enemy launched a rocket attack again, as a result of which a rescue worker, an ambulance paramedic and others were killed.
