The incident happened on December 30, 2020

Vitaliy Nemylostyvy - Deputy of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Uruskoy - was stopped by patrolmen who suspected the man of drunk driving.

The incident occurred on December 30, 2020, reports "Columnist«.

Merciless refused to draw up a report, tried to leave the scene of the incident and even started a fight with the patrolmen. Deputy Urusko tried to give the keys to the patrolmen and leave, but the law enforcement officer did not let him do this. When the cop followed the man and urged him to stop, he said: "I am the deputy minister!" As a result, a fight started.

The government reacted to the incident. This morning, January 21, the Cabinet of Ministers will meet for an extraordinary meeting, at which they plan to fire the Merciless. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"On Thursday morning, the government will meet for an extraordinary meeting. One issue on the agenda is the release of Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries Vitaly Nemylostyvy. I have already said more than once that there are no untouchables in our government. Once again, we will prove these words with actions," the Prime Minister said.

Oleg Uruskyi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, also reacted to the scandalous situation with his deputy and supported the intention of the Cabinet of Ministers to fire Nemylostyvy.

"Recently, a terrible event happened to the Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries, Vitaly Nemylostyv, connected with his flagrant violation of traffic rules and unpleasant behavior with representatives of the National Police of Ukraine. His act is unacceptable and undermines the authority of the representative of the executive power in the eyes of the Ukrainian people. I believe that such irresponsible behavior on the part of Vitaly the Merciless makes it impossible for him to remain in the post of Deputy Minister. Therefore, in the near future, I and the government will make all the necessary personnel decisions," the minister emphasized.
