Today, February 19, following the results of the meeting of the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine, a press conference of the secretary of the department, Alexei Danilov, is being held.
By the decision of the Council of National Security and Defense, sanctions were applied against 19 legal entities and eight individuals, including five airplanes on which flights were carried out on the Kyiv-Moscow route.
Danilov also said that Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko, People's Deputy from OPZZ, were under sanctions, in particular.
Danilov said that the sanctions against Medvedchuk, Marchenko and others are being imposed because of the SBU's investigation into the financing of terrorism.
