Today, December 3, another meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be held.
Judging by the agenda, in the first reading, the parliament will consider draft laws on the regulation of conflict of interests in the activities of local council deputies and village, township, and city heads and on ensuring the quality of educational literature.
In the second reading, there are draft laws on the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities and on inland water transport.
On the agenda is the strengthening of responsibility for abduction, embezzlement, sale, forgery of identity documents, confirming the citizenship of Ukraine or the special status of a person, and the rules for serving administrative arrest.
Also, the People's Deputies intend to decide on the removal of age restrictions for public service, on ensuring the independence of the National Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting, and on aid for burial and compensation of material costs for funeral services and the construction of a gravestone.
In addition, a draft law developed by the parliamentary working group on the restoration of criminal liability for false declaration by officials will be put to the vote in the Verkhovna Rada today.
