President Volodymyr Zelenskyy again spoke out against the construction of the Russian Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. He announced this at the "Ukraine 30" forum on Monday, July 5.
According to the head of state, the completion and launch of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline is the biggest challenge for Ukraine in the field of energy security.
"Ego commissioning is not about economics. This is a weapon against Ukraine, and it will be a weapon against all of Europe in the future. This is a direct security trap for everyone. In the future, it is necessary to oppose the implementation of this project and involve all partners in this difficult struggle. This is not only Ukraine. All of Europe must unite to confront this energy threat," he said.
