According to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, Ukraine will receive a $2,5 billion military-technical assistance package — one of the largest packages the United States has ever provided to the Armed Forces.
In the near future, Ukraine will receive one of the largest packages of military aid from the USA. This was stated by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, on Friday, December 8, at the final press conference based on the results of the negotiations of the Contact Group in the Rammstein-20 format.
"The supply of air defense equipment and armored vehicles to Kyiv, as well as their synchronization, were the main issues during the meeting. We will not slow down the pace of providing military aid to Ukraine. "Now is a crucial moment in the war," Austin said.

- At the same time, the head of the Pentagon confirmed that the parties did not agree on the supply of German "leopards" to Ukraine.
In addition, Lloyd Austin emphasized the importance of the initiative of allied countries not only to transfer the necessary equipment, but also to train the personnel of the Armed Forces. Yes, the Netherlands has already expressed its agreement to train the Ukrainian military to handle Patriot launchers.
Also, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will undergo training, after which they will be able to use Bradley armored personnel carriers for maneuvers.
