Zelensky admitted that it is impossible to argue with some of Vladimir Putin's words, but he called some of his statements excessive. This was stated by Vladimir Zelensky at a joint press conference with the President of France in Kyiv.
"There really are things with which you cannot argue with the president of the Russian Federation, Ukraine is really beautiful. Regarding the fact that he says that she is "mine", it seems to me that this is a slight exaggeration," said Zelensky.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine switched to Russian so that, according to him, his answer was better understood by the "author of the aphorism." According to Zelensky, Ukraine is "very patient, because it is wisdom."
"This is important not only for Ukraine, but also for all of Europe. And it is very important for the Russians, because escalation depends on our patience. We defend our country, we are on our territory. Our patience affects provocations. When we do not respond to provocations, but behave very decently. Therefore, it seems to me, there is wisdom in patience," Zelensky said.
