Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia imposed sanctions against 30 officials from Belarus, including the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. This is reported by the press services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the above-mentioned countries.
In particular, sanctions were imposed against officials who are responsible for the possible falsification of election results and the violent dispersal of demonstrators in Belarus.

These officials are prohibited from entering the Baltic countries.
Earlier, all three Baltic countries declared that they did not recognize the results of the elections in Belarus, and also condemned the use of force against the participants of the protest actions.
