The claim to cancel the local elections scheduled for October 25 was submitted to the District Administrative Court of Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the court.
The lawsuit was filed by the public organization "All-Ukrainian Association of Village Heads, Deputies of Village Councils and Villagers "Saving the Village". The director of the organization is former People's Deputy Arkady Kornatskyi, who ran from Batkivshchyna and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
The court is asking to cancel the decision of the CEC on holding local elections on October 25, as it was allegedly adopted in violation of the provisions of the election code.
Currently, the Kyiv court is opening the appropriate administrative proceedings.
